Another way is, hearing something on the radio in a song or on the TV, many messages come through these means as a easier way to communicate. If all else fails, ask them to visit you in your dreams. Be patient as it may not happen overnight.

I think it was a couple of years ago I had a dream one night. I found myself below ground in what looked like a secret dojo boxing platform.
